I have a query regarding PR in Canada
I have got 1 year of experience and then a gap of 3 years as I was helping my dad in his showroom business, I continued my career then in IT for 4 years. Now I have overall 5 years of exp with a gap of 3+ years. Can anyone help me with few queries, will this effect my profile when applying of PR in Canada? And what should I say if they ask me for an explanation with documents to prove the gap? I was just helping dad in his business so I don't have any other explanation to prove. Can anyone help me with these queries please

3 years of work experience get you max number of points for work experience, it's enough to claim the 4 years. No need to prove why there had been a gap.

Thank you for your reply first of all, but my friend recently applied for PR in Canada and he got provincial nomination after that..... After accepting that he had to fill in details of last 10 years and that ask you to provide information about your gaps.... So I am wondering will this gap effect my application and what should I say for this gap if I get the nomination

All applicants are required to provide information about their travel history, personal history and address history for the last 10 years prior to the application and there should be no gaps IN TIME not in whatever activity they had been doing. You mention what you were doing for every year in the last 10 years- employed, unemployed, studying, vacationing, whatever is the case.

So can I mention that I was just helping my dad in his showroom business but I can't get any document for that as it is a very small family business.

But yes I have all the documents for the rest of the companies
So so you think my profile will be strong enough?
