Hi, I have submitted my parents sponsorship application last May 25 of this year but still haven't heard anything. No notification that my application has been received or anything related to it. As in nothing. Can anyone tell me what step to take before I call CIC? thank you for your help.

Did you try calling IRCC to get an update? maybe that might shed some light on the delay.

Just want to check with you again, did you do anything before you got DM1? Like sending in any documents, contacting anyone or calling CIC? Mine and others are still the same. It's more than two weeks after you get your DM1 but we didn't see any other cases like this moving forward. I may think to contact MP but I don't know if that going to help or not. If CIC forgot our cases that's unfair to us.

My ATIP notes shows that it's pending officer review for three months. I don't know which queue I'm in right now. Or maybe not in any queue. That's too bad.

No luck, Canada Post closed my case and told me due to some "national technical issue" they have no proof that the mail is delivered. The supervisor told me they can't provide the signature and there won't be any update on the tracking page, but she believed it should be delivered as long as the address on the envelop is correct. I can do nothing at the moment but just wait.

Cravethe6th if you don't mind, could you please let me know when you receive AOR or can link your app online? if CIC did receive my application, I think I can call them to confirm by then. All I can do is hoping for the best.

Hi Everyone! I am a newbie here! I received an invitation to apply for my mother on Aug1st and sent application to Ottawa P.O. Box address as mentioned in the email received on 1st August. Canada post says application delivered on Aug16 but there are no signatures as its a PO box number. But some forum members are mentioning names of signatories.. how did you get the name/signed by?

I recieved my invitation in July 31st. W/c is the 2nd round. And i provide my SIN.

Please try with different set of information. For me, I kept failing when I entered the passport information of my mother.
However, when I tried with the place of birth that you entered in the application, it went through.

For number of people in the application question, it was 2 for me since I am the sponsor and my mom is the only applicant for the application.
But, you can try with different combination, and increase the number from # of total applicants (your parents, and their dependant) to + yourself.

I tried a lot of different things until my account got blocked so have to wait another 24 hrs. I called in CIC but then they said I have to wait for an acknowledgement letter first with the application number before I can link the application online. Really frustrating

Yes I did. They just told me to wait for an acknowledgement letter. But I've seen a lot of applicants the same timeline as me and they already have AOR.

Thanks for the quick response! I had abused express mail. I tried online but it’s blank. Canada post said I should have requested signature at delivery option when I posted the package. Will remember next time

Pls try Canada Post - and try to track the package and over there you will find out who received your app
