Ontario NOI for FSSW

Hello,

I have a CRS score of 407 with the below details:
- IELTS: S:9; L:10; R:10 W:4, (NCLC)
- TEF: S: 9; L: 9; R:7; W: 8, (NCLC)

- NOC: 0211 (Engineering Manager)

I'm eligible for two nominations programs from Ontario; the FSSW and the HCP.

My profile was last updated on the 1st of June 2018 after I resubmitted the above TEF results.
the problem is up till now I did not receive any NOI form Ontario, neither under FSSW nor under HCP.
can anyone help?

Hi!
You haven´t received the NOI because of the IELTS results. In order to apply under FSSW you need a minimun CLB 6 in all four English abilities. Writing is 4. You need to retake the IELTS test so you get the minimum in Writing.

As you, I was waiting for the NOI but I realized this so I retook the IELTS and after that I received the NOI.

This would lower my crs score to 397 insread of 407. What i did this morning is that I mentionned that I'm most at ease in french instead of english, but I kept English as my primary language.

If you are based ouland, and don't have any job offer, the best thing to do is to keep French as your first language, as even with 397 you have a good chance to get NOI under FSSW stream.

Under FSSW stream, It doesn´t matter if you have CRS < 400. As @maitredufoot said, you have to choose French as first languague. You will get a NOI fast, they are issuing for French Speaking people each week.

For other hand, at 407 it is really difficult to get a direct ITA. And Ontario it is not issuing NOIs under HCP stream (only targetted job offer).
