I am a UK citizen, I have applied outland and hoping to travel to Canada under dual intent in a few weeks when my husband moves back to Canada. However, I’m struggling to figure out what to do about medical insurance. Can anyone recommend a good company or share what they did about healthcare while in Canada as a tourist awaiting PR?

Good information here:

Even when you do get PR, you may still need medical insurance as some provinces have 'waiting periods' for new PR's (e.g. You can't get OHIP in Ontario until 3 months after landing to declare PR).
