So just want to confirm, if I got approved through the international student with job offer stream, and my job offer is B, I don't need to take any language tests to apply through the federal right? (I am not allowed to enter EE because of this PNP stream).

Not required in principle if you are in Canada and working.
But the whole idea is having money to support all your family members while settling, so it depends on how many members and how much you earn.
You will still have to fill a form asking how much you have and it is recommended to have some funds. Basically, do not leave the person judging your application suspicious that you would require financial help, so education and English weighs in (probability of settlement and economic success) with the salary and position of the job offer.

Hi MissyTin,

I am now preparing the federal application. On IMM 5669 it requires personal history for the past 10 years. So for all the jobs I have done so far, do I need to write down part-time/full-time, or just the titles of the job is fine? Thanks!

Thanks sir for the answer... I was worried because, I already spent our savings paying for my wife tuition fee here in canada, though I still have savings left but that's not sufficient enough to meet the CIC criteria for a couple which is about $15,531. Will it really be fine if I only show POF less than what CIC required?

Status: waiting for Ontario Provincial Nomination
: employed / full time
: Open Work Permit holder

If you are here and working, they say it is not needed. What is important is that the salary and position is enough to support your family. And if you are here, most of these funds are not necessary.

I read somewhere that you can add to your savings + 3 months of your current salary, because the settlement funds are based on a 3 months period, but I could not find the source to give to you, so take this with a grain of salt, try to find more info.

What also weighs in is your wife's probability of finding a job. If she paid tuition to college or University, her employability and salary expectation is higher. It is even better when she finds a good job while your application is being processed, so you can update them of your job history, and both of you are working, it will look very nice on your "probability of economic success" criteria.

Plus, there are the items in the checklist that require supporting documents and the items that do not, and if I'm not mistaken, that form does not require you to send the POF, it is a declaration, and they may request it later, so it is highly recommended to make an honest and conservative estimate of your funds in case they ask for proof.

Hi, you need to take the additional language test. It is marked bold in the checklist.

It also says that "since date xxx, 20xx..." NOCs C and D requires the test, but that is in addition to the NOCs 0, A and B.

Even though we are not scored like in the EE, they request minimum standards, and in this case, it is a CLB 5. It doesn't mean the other NOCs don't need it, on the contrary, the other NOCs could be even higher (if I remember well, it is 7 for NOC 0).

There is one example of a person who was denied the PR because her CLB was 3.5 and the officer said it was not compatible with the NOC B offer.

And yes to the other question, write down all the details you have for the past 10 years work history, use everything you can that you think will make it easier for them to verify, and use additional pages if needed.

There you go, found it!

Minimum is:
CLB 7 for Federal skilled streams any NOC
CLB 7 for NOC 0 or A
CLB 5 for NOC B
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=666&top=29

CLB 4 for NOC C and D
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/archives/backgrounders-2012/new-minimum-language-requirements-immigrants-under-provincial-nominee-program.html

And CLB 4/5 for trades (EE)
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements.html

Although some of the references are for EE and stream specific, where one of the classes it refers to is the CEC, do not be mistaken: Temporary foreign workers (OWP and WP) who acquired their experience in Canada, which is the requirement for the OINP (or any other province PNP for that matter) EMPLOYER JOB OFFER is part of the CEC:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/economic-classes/experience.html

Does not aplly to international students or Master's with a job offer, but they will be CEC in the future, that is why we check processing times as the ECONOMIC CLASS.
What you have to know is that CIC will assess your application independent of the nomination and they can challenge your nomination. If you read the "what happens next" it says there that "your application will be assessed against current selection standards."
