No. UCI number for you and your husband will be differentBecause we just received a new UCI nr of my application and when I open it I see that is linked to the name of my husband ( my sponsor). I thought they have reviewed my eligibility and now starting with the sponsor.
What happens is that a few weeks after receiving your application, they will review the whole thing for completion. If proven complete and filled out correctly, you will receive AOR1.Who is the first to be evaluated in the process of sponsoring the spouse, the sponsor or the sponsored person?
When you are requested to do the medicals, is it the last step? Have we both passed eligibility? What happens is that a few weeks after receiving your application, they will review the whole thing for completion. If proven complete and filled out correctly, you will receive AOR1.
It will stay in CPC and they will check the sponsor's eligibility. This usually takes a few weeks to a couple months.
As they forward the application to the VO, they will be checking PA's eligibility. This is usually the longest part of the spousal sponsorship.
I, unfortunately, don't know if there should be anything to worry about. You can call IRCC during their business hours for confirmation. We got different UCIs since the beginning and I have already submitted police certifiate, medicals and now after 8 months of application submission we received this e-mail with a different UCI. This last UCI corresponds with his nr in PR card. In this e-mail they sent an aknowledgement letter as if they just opened the application. I do not know why and I am a bit concerned .
No. Medical request is one of the earlier steps. You both passed eligibility when you get Passport Request (PPR).When you are requested to do the medicals, is it the last step? Have we both passed eligibility?
That was my bad. I was counting SA from a week before AOR1. From AOR1, it generally takes just a week or so to get SA. I've seen cases where it takes longer though. I've seen cases where the application is already forwarded but they still haven't received SA.oh OK I did not know that SA approval time takes so long!
