did you call IRCC to check if your OWP can keep the time flame on end of April ?
So the only number I can find is all automated and wants my application number. But the only application number I have is for my sponsorship papers. So now I'm trying to figure out how to actually be able to talk to someone to figure this all out.

I'm already applying for jobs in the hopes that I will have everything lined up and ready to go as soon as it is approved.

Edit: found out how to get to talk to someone. Currently waiting in a 30 min queue.

Okay, spoke to the IRCC and for those curious, I feel your OWP is returned to you, they still go by the date your Sponsorship papers were initially received. So, in my case, they received all of my paperwork on April 30th so I will still be processed with April 30th applicants.

The first part, the part a lot of us are waiting on is the approval that the sponsor is eligible to actually sponsor us. As soon as that decision is made, they send you an email and start the work permit and then get it to you within a few days.

I hope this helps others!

If you were able to link your application it was accepted. Your AOR may have gone missing but it's not really required as long as you can link, all the AOR gives you us the application number.

Ignore the "date submitted" on the overview page, the Date Received you showed above is what matters. The date submitted is just the day you linked the application on MyCIC, it's a bug.
Thank you. But it my Background check it shows: Not Applicable. Does that mean I need to submit the background form again?

That's normal. It just means they haven't started the background check yet.

My application is:

Review of eligibility: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Not applicable.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

So does it mean they have not started to do anything in my application yet since Apr 23?

Correct, they don't usually do anything until around the 6 month mark, when you get medical request.

You mean sponsor approval is before OWP? I don't think so

No, I mean that eligibility to sponsor is before getting your OWP. Like I said, your sponsor has to first be approved to legally be able to sponsor someone first before it all really gets going.

I don't think so. The pattern I see for inland is first AOR, then work permit, then a few months later sponsor approval. For the outland applications the sponsor approval comes before work permit, like u stated.

For Outland there's no OWP
