I just called CIC to follow up my urgent processing request for oath ceremony ( because of my job concerns) , the agent said that my file has been transferred from Scarborough to Mississauga office and I have to wait to hear back from Mississauga office.
What a brutal wait and line up . :-(

Hi Guys,

Just received my oath swearing invitation letter today 10th Aug 2018.

The swearing in is for 29th Aug 2018 in Mississauga.

Weird considering, I live in Oshawa, I had my test in Scarborough and the swearing in is in Mississauga.

PS: Decision made - 23rd March 2018.

I am a Nov 2017 applicant
My application is in IP status since Jan 9th.
After that no progress , no message.
I called CIC twice and they said that this year the timelines can go even higher than 12 months due to double load.
Is there anyone similar to my case (in IP since Jan 2018 but no message after that) ?

yes same here its been in ip status since feb. but again i am based in toronto, it could be longer for us

Hey! Yep, I'm in the same boat as you, been IP status since Jan too! I called too, and was told my application is going very well, no problems, just have to wait. ;-)
