The ecas status just says "Medical Results have been received". It was the same case with my parents, their ecas status was "Medical Results have been received" for a while and then they received prearrival letter on Aug 8 morning and passport request on same day evening. The status never showed if they had passed the medical results

Did you send the PCC before passport request?

My parent did their medical exam on July 26th, and on Aug 3rd they said we passed the medical exam, and received a letter on Aug 07 from Ankara embassy requested for Passport. We are so pumped.

I am trying to fill form IMM 5406 which is additional family information. Do I need to fill the form in English and print one more form to fill in native language? Also I am sponsoring my parents so 1 form will be for my father and 2nd for has to be filled for my mother and in that form my mother will be the applicant. Am I right? Please solve this confusion. my parents medical exams were done on June 4, yet I receive an email asking for medical exams on July 28. And I am unable to link our applications online to view any updates. i sent them an email stating med exams were done. is there anything else i can do to make sure they received it? or if they passed? thanks.

Meh...not good enough. They can easily put an exact timeline to each application as the whole app travels through computer system. Historical projections or future projections don't hold a CIC or embassy employee to same standards as most of rest of government organizations like MTO or OHIP etc...which provide a very accurate timeline and must stand by it.

Hi guys,

Just this afternoon IRCC asked for additional documents sent to my mom's email (PCC, CV/Resume, Travel History etc..). It is a positive thing to get this kind of update to know that my parents' application is moving. So I guess for sponsorship approval it is safe to assume that you may or may not receive an official letter of approval.

Hi positiv1, did you use Super Visa medical for PGP application? We are kind of in a situation where CIC has asked for IME and we have a pre-medical done last November so not sure to send that or do the whole thing again?
