What I meant was, driver's licence with the application. Just as you send passport. As per their application form "Proof of name (a photocopy of a government issued identity
document: for example, passport or driver's license)" has to be sent. When I sent my application, my passport was near expiry (it now has). I had mailed them and they said it is fine and update after i get the reissued passport. Now, there is a name change in my new passport, so I wanted to know if they will be okay with the driver's licence. I can support my name change, but just wanted to know if I'd be lucky enough to escape the additional paperwork.
