LMIA application processing time?

Here is my timeline,

The company applied for LMIA in March 20th.
Still processing. There is no return from gov. It's been almost 5 months. And the employer said lets hope it will not take 8 months or more. Fingers crossed, waiting

Hello everyone.
I applied my LMIA application in the end of April 2018 and got receipt and file no from service Canada in the end of May 2018 in the position of Administrative assistant #1241 in Ontario. but my employer is still waiting for an interview. Could you please let me know when Service Canada will call to my employer. your response will be appreciated.

I think the processing time is between 2 to 3 months depends on the position and wages.

- Will a positive LMIA guarantee a Job in canada. If we receive a positive LMIA, what do they check for work permit to issue?

- I'm applying from Outside Canada. I have work experience mismatch with the current offer. will it affect my work permit?

- I already have visit visa for 4 years of canada and had been visited twice.

The average wait times have now increased based on my own experience..It can be anywhere between 3-4 months. I can see that you have already crossed that mark. We cannot tell anymore how much time it will take, I wish you good luck. Do keep us posted on your application
