Changes in Bank Account (shown as POF) and Address

Hi Sir/Madam,

I am currently working in UAE but company is sending me to India. I showed my UAE Bank account with ADCB Bank as proof of fund for my PR application. All addresses are in UAE only like residence & Postal.

My PR application is in progress. The current status of the application is IP1 ( Medical Exam Passed ).

Now as I need to move to India, I need to close down my UAE bank account shown as POF. So I want to know whether I need to inform CIC about this. Also whether this will have any negative impact on my application and can lead to rejection.

you need to inform them of the change in address. no need to inform them of the change in bank account.

If you're going to close the account, you DEFINITELY have to inform IRCC of that change because you will basically have no proof of funds anymore!

POF has to be maintained at all times until you land.
