hi,
I want to visit canada and live in common law relationship for 12 months, my first entry I will say i'm coming for couple of months and try get 6 months.
Then before that visa expires I will try to extend my stay, now when we apply for extension must we say the exact amount of time we need or will it be the same as port of entry when sometimes we say we staying for xxx time and we don't get any stamp and therefore get 6 months automatically?
There is a section in the online document guide that says "The reason why I am extending" can I write we are trying to do common law or that will be rejected?
I'm from visa exempt country and since I wont be working she can show proof that she is working and her parents can also say that they are supporting us.
The goal is to live 12 months and then extend again while we send application for inland PR sponsorship.
