Hello, I am a Canadian and I am sponsoring my wife for PR (inland). She recently received a message from CIC stating that she needs to do medical exam for the PR application.
She is pregnant and we understand that she's still required to complete the medical exam without the x-ray part and also to have the panel physician complete form IMM5733E to notify CIC of the x-ray deferment.
I have done a lot of reading on here on others with similar situation and I understand that my wife's application will be on hold until after the baby is born and she can have the x-ray portion completed. However, I still have a few questions for after the baby is born.
Thank you for your help!

I have done a lot of reading on here on others with similar situation and I understand that my wife's application will be on hold until after the baby is born and she can have the x-ray portion completed. However, I still have a few questions for after the baby is born.
- I understand that we are not required to inform CIC of the pregnancy but we will be required to notify CIC once the baby is born. How do we inform CIC of the new addition to the family once the baby is born? Is there a specific form and if yes what is the form number or can we just provide an update via the IRCC webform?
- Will we be adding the baby as an "additional family" or as a dependent. Is this option specified in the same form in question # 1 above or is it on a different form?
- Will the baby require a medical exam as well for my wife's PR application?
- Do we have to notify CIC after the baby is born that my wife would like to continue with the PR application or simply completing the x-ray portion of the medical exam will automatically continue her PR application process?
