I will apply SOWP using my husband's approved study permit. How much po kaya ung proof of funds ang ishoshow? Thank you~
This is an interesting question and it would help if some expert can confirm it. I been searching the IRCC/CIC site for an exact amount of
POF for SOWP application and I cant find any. In the forums, there are some answers but all are different.
I want to share my experience but I was already working(already after SP) when I applied SOWP for my wife so it does not count.
IMHO Cguro po ang sagot po ay "Enough amount of money to cover the living expenses for both of you(Lets just say 1 year)" + "Total Tuition Fee Amount" for the whole duration of the Program your husband is taking.
This should include your Health Insurance. Your Husband's Tuition might include Health Insurance but you need to have one also.
You need to prove to the VO that you are able to survive for certain duration of time until you are able to find a job or in case you were not able to find a job immediately. This is considering both of you are not working yet.
Unless, of course if you own a business, properties or other source of income and such then its not a problem and just disregard all what i have said before.
So again the question: How Much nga po??
Safe side cguro, $15,000 or more (Thats for for both of you)
Wala po ako makita kaya im referring to this POF table(Bring Enough Amount Money to Settle) in this link
