My boyfriend applied to renew his PR card first week of July, but the online processing time is saying 100 days. We leave for Portugal on October 12 for a wedding and we're growing anxious about whether he will get it in time. The clerk on the helpline advised they are still processing April submissions. Yikes. Anyone have any idea as to whether the processing times are pretty exact? Is it 100 business days? Just looking for some hope here that it will be processed and posted to Toronto in time before Oct 12.
We are also looking at option of PRTD once we arrive - either sending to Paris or driving to Madrid. Anyone have any experiences with either office in terms of processing time, whether we should go in person to Madrid over sending a courier to Paris, couriering the doc to a hotel once processed..etc. ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
