URGENT HELP NEED, Received CAIPS notes, ISSUE IN FUNDS

Hi Friends,

I've recently received CAIPS notes and the reason mentioned by Visa Officer is:-

"Having reviewed banking, assets and/or financial documents, I am not satisfied funds will be available to support applicant's study plan. I am not satisfied applicant is a bonafide student who would depart Canada at the end of their authorized stay. Application Refused."

I am confused that why VO has raised the question regarding funds despite of showing adequate amount in the bank account i.e 25 Lakhs in my brothers account and that too funds was an year older. My brother is a business man and he was one of the sponsors besides Parents'. I also attached his ITR's and Affidavit of Support to prove he has also a fixed source of Income. Moreover, I purchased GIC and paid One Semester fees also.

I did not attach my Parents' bank statements (due to not having much amount) but I attached their ITR's to prove a source of income, my father is a retired Govt. official. He has his fixed pension which is credited every month.

Kindly advise me how can I convince VO regarding FUNDS?

Please help.

Hi Krishna13! Sorry to hear this news. It is important to provide proof of funds first of all in your personal bank account or parent's bank account if you do not have regular income. You can deposit some funds into your bank account, which you can borrow from your brother. It will be great if your funds will be enough to cover at least your 1 year tuition fees plus CAD12K to cover living expenses. I also think you should provide bank statements for your parents even if there is no enough funds at least to show that your parents have regular income stream to support you in case you need some extra help. You should reapply immediately after getting your financial documents in order. It looks like you do not have any major problems. You have to look for options getting your financial support documents in order.

Would it seem a genuine if my parents or I borrow all funds from my brother?
If we lodge all the funds at once then would Visa officer not raise a question about sudden deposit? Fresh amount is acceptable?

Yeah I also believe so, my refusal reason is not complex because visa officer did not raise any other question. So I am believing, rest all the points are cleared.

In your cover letter you can explain that your brother allocated specific fund for your study and transferred to your account to pay for study, travel and tuition fees. You can make relative payments from your account for further visa, travel or school charges before you get bank statement. This will be more convincing for visa officer that your brother genuinely is willing to provide funds for your study and you have full control of those funds. However, you should still have to receive affidavit and bank statement from your brother. Your brother can also mention in separate letter that he is committed to cover your study expenses, so he transferred necessary funds to your personal account and willing to provide more funds if needed.
