yep, it's all true and frustrating. but again, i'm talking about the majority, and that's what they look at when they analyze the data. i'm a much better and established immigrant than most of people I know who come through EE, but I realize it's impossible to measure it on case-by-case basis, so I'm basically a product of the imperfections of their system, and so are you.
anyway, I hope we'll be able to forget this nightmare soon and never experience it again!

I just punched my data into the EE calculator and came up with a score of 585. Lol. Thinking if I should go for it

I wanted to apply for EE in January, I even got a new nomination and got the ITA from EE. But right when I was going to submit it, my paper-based app woke up and they started sending me pre-arrival letter, extended my meds, asked for RPRF, I mean they finally started DOING SOMETHING! So I figured I'd just wait for another few months, sure enough I would get my PR by August (that's when 6 months of EE would expire), why spend another 2 grand on a new application?
Here I am, August 1 lol

June 12, 2017 - reminder about additional documents
Oct. 25, 2017 - Final reminder about RPRF. Turns out I have not paid for spouse, so I did that right away

Jan. 30, 2018 - Upfront medical
Feb. 28, 2018 - First MR
March 12, 2018 - Second MR
May 15, 2018 - Medical passed

Good for him. I got through to CIC today and they told me that my file is in background verification. They said it may pass the processing time. There is no telling how long it will take. This is what they said to all those folks who waited for 30+ months. This is the worst they could say to me.

They accept upfront medicals...I did upfront medicals too and they accept it within 3 weeks. Sometime its sucks and people got 2 medicals
