Separated family, no contact (family info)

Hi Everyone, my first post on this forum.

I have a question regarding the family section of filling out the application - IMM5406 specifically.

My parents are divorced since I was a child, (have a divorce certificate). Since then we moved states and and never had any contact.

The only information I have is a name, while the form asks for marital status, email, and half siblings. I would assume immideate family ends after a divorce, but I’m not sure with regards to this application.

Could anyone share any information? Should I hire legal help?

Divorce does not end it. You need to put down what you know and put Unknown for what you don't know and explain on a separate sheet.
