GCMS Notes ordered - but no payment asked ??

It said they will ask $5 as payment, but I never got transferred to payment page, instead they gave me the tracking number and also got an email confirmation of submission.

Is this normal ? Could someone know why no payment was asked ? I am not sure, if it went successful.

If you currently are a PR or citizen of Canada, and you requested for information about yourself, it's free. (Privacy Act)

However, if you are not a PR or citizen, or if you requested for information about someone else, you'll have to pay $5. (ATIP)

You may have chosen the Privacy Act instead of ATIP. They'll email you and ask you to pay the $5 if your request falls under ATIP instead.
