Hi friends,
Is there any medical checkup that would be needed for less than 1 year old baby. From searching the forum one post said it won't be needed another said some tests would be needed. Has anybody talk from their own experience?

You will have to get the exam done just like your own. But the exam itself will be quite simple, just a physical checkup. There won't be any bloodwork or X-rays.
For my 3-year-old toddler, they checked weight, height, and did a physical examination. No blood, urine, or x-ray was done. I guess for infants they will mostly check the weight, height and any vaccination details.

Hello Bro,
I am searching the same answer. its your old post and i hope you will be in Canada now after clearance of your medical. Please can you share details of Infants medical procedure ? Do they check milestones in very detail or just check the physical appearance? My baby is bit slow in achieving hey milestones. Can you please explain in detail ?
I am waiting to receive the COPR; applied for the PR via express entry. If we are expecting a baby, where can we find all the required documents to annex the baby to our PR request? Thanks

Book the appointment with on-panel physician/hospital (preferably with e-medical system) and they will let you know the required documents and process.
Having said that, its just a physical check up and nothing else.
I am looking to get the same medical examination done for my newborn. Is it allowed to do this in advance? i.e. premedical through the panel physician or do I have to wait for to medical request from IRCC.
