Hi,

I have been checking my points for the EE, and I lose many points if I include my common law in my application...can I declare I have common law but he won’t accompany??
Could I apply once I get my PR through another program??
Please I need help

If he's really not going to accompany, you can declare him as non-accompanying but that also will raise questions as to why he isn't. This also means that you can't sponsor him later.

It's difficult to tell what programs you are eligible for without knowing your credentials.

The reason is because of my points. I score 468 and with him just 440...I thought I could apply as per my effort getting experience in Canada and studying at college but apparently it doesn’t matter if my partner doesn’t have experience/English and studies...
Plus he doesn’t have any documents ready yet and I don’t have time as my current work permit will expire soon.

Yes, you can declare him as non-accompanying and then sponsor him after you become a PR.

Hi,
I discovered recently that I can apply for EE and make my common law partner accompanies me.
well , it is a bit to late for her to prepare her documents and she has no work experience, she is just planing to pass the French test. the simulated score based on my experience and test results + EDE would be 509 points. I am wondering if she's going to be accepted ? are we going to take the PR at the same time?
