Your wife does not have to assign a representative, however if she needs one she can assign either you or a lawyer as her representative.Hello

If you are applying for a family class spousal sponsorship, please try to check the processing times at the IRCC website. They will tell you the length of time your application will be processed depending on the principal applicant's (PA) country since his/her documents will be sent to the local visa offfice where your PA resides. A lot of us here have learned how to increase our patience since it takes months to get an update of our application. Waiting for months with no feedback is stressful. Just have to prepare yourself for that because it will affect your life if you dont anticipate for this. To get an approval is a case to case basis. If one is lucky enough that it takes just a few months to get approved, some may take longer like more than a year before they get their visa. The processing time of your application will also depend on the completeness of your documents submitted and your relationship with your sponsor.guys my file have 2 month in paris and they dont send to me pre-arrival letter or date of interview ......did any one have any idea whats probably is gonna be the next step???
Just wait for more months and you will get an update. On my part, i was also applying for spousal visa application. It took almost 5 months to get an update from IRCC when our documents were sent to the local visa office last Feb 2018. I am Nov 30 2017 applicant and up to this day, i have no pre-arrival invitation yet but my background check is already in process.guys why no one want to answer me ....if anyone have any idea tell me i thought we r here to help each other we r all stressed and want to help each other ...... and thx for understanding
That’s right!Ok thank you so i leave it blank right ? Also i am just sponsoring my wife and we have a 2 year old son who is canadian citizen that means i have no dependants am i right?
If your file has only been at the visa office for 2 months, you can expect a bit more of a wait. Processing times at visa office generally spans for months.guys why no one want to answer me ....if anyone have any idea tell me i thought we r here to help each other we r all stressed and want to help each other ...... and thx for understanding

Yes absolutely. When you are a PR, you should be in canada when you file your application. Only a canadian citizen can apply outside of canada. If your supporting documents of your spouse are ready then you can bring it to canada and make sure all the forms that are updated have been fully filled.up and signed by both of you. This is to avoid your documents to be returned to you for some missing informations or leave some spaces blank. Complete informations and documents increase your chances of faster processing.Hey guys just want to know how u guys applied for spousal sponsorship.
Did u got all the documents of your spouse from India and then when u reached canada u applied for sponsorship as i have been told if i am canadian PR i can only sponsor mt spouse if i am in canada at that time
