one of my client have applied Transit Visa for Canada on 17 July 2018. She is Travelling Back to us on 20 Aug 2018. whom to follow up at Canada Embassy in New Delhi for same. Please advise

There are direct flights to the US. Not sure why she wants to transit through Canada.

Also, the estimated processing time is currently 28 days. Actual processing can take much longer. She could even get a decision after her intended travel date.

As the estimated processing time has not passed, it won't help to contact the ND visa office

Actually we have purchase Business Class Ticket on Air Canada which is non refundable and we realized later that Indian Passport holder requires transit Visa. Hence we need to Utilize same ticket so can you please help us in this case Please.

This is just a public forum with no influence or contacts with Canadian immigration so you will need to check directly with the Canadian authorities.

There is nothing anyone here can do to assist you other than offer advice. Being business class, the seat should be eligible for changes in travel dates. Alternately, see if Air Canada can change the ticket to US direct through one of its Star Alliance partners (United, Air India, etc). As previously noted, estimated processing time is 28 days, but can be significantly longer. There isn’t any way to expidite the process.

They could also be refused so best to look into plan b. Business class tickets usually are quite flexible. They may also have to delay travel.

If you are a travel agent or immigration consultant how did you not know that a transit visa is required?
