I'm assuming all of the buildings are for tourists to check out right? for the most recent, it should be the last building that was previously used for sending telegraphs. it was built in 1988, and the latest one built among all the buildings. The church was renovated, integrating the ruins into the new modern building, but I think it was restored in the 1940s/1960s.
True. I chose E also.

Sorry, I kept repeating that I was sleepy during the test, but I'm sure that the 1950s industry is mining. I wasn't able to follow the previous statements, but I guessed and answered fishing (remembering the keywords fishing village).

The other one is talk to teachers.

I answered secretary but I'm not sure of my answer. I thought I heard the full-time admission officer is in charge of something else but he's not around.
It’s Secretary. Principal and Secretary were busy answering questions about general courses. They gave a lot of distracting information about the full time admissions officer but she was in charge of evening programme of studies. This nearly threw me off balance

About the Reading section, the very last set of questions on the topic of laughter. Do you remember your answers? I answered only one word for the 3 questions but the instruction was to write "no more than 3 words". I thought that's tricky when it seems the answers are only in one word.

- (How) old (something about affecting them)
- (challenging the) standards (of adults....)
- can't remember now but also one word
Experience or experience of life ... either of d two not sure

I also answered liquid. from gas to liquid right?

But i was very sleepy during the listening exam that i missed some of the conversations.I'm not sure about which course is included in the compulsary (was it math or business), and what are they unsure about? (last question of that topic)
Same, I scored a 9 on listening on my first try - but I don't feel I did too well on listening this time around. I believe the compulsory course was math, and if you remind me what the choices were about the last question I might be able to remember the answer.

What confused me was the topic with the director for the after school programs. What was Tony Heslop's distinguishing factor, charity or new joiner?
Also, what were the students advised to do at night, talk to teachers or read the brochure?

True. I chose E also.
I think it was A because firstly, I found there was a word "now" and secondly, this building has cafe and gallery. I think gallery is the key word. This test does not give us a task to think and suppose any ideas, it is about facts and reading ability not about finding the years like 1984 or 1988 and so on.
I think it was incorrect to look for numbers most recent to the current year.

How is gallery a key word? If it is about facts and reading ability, then 1988 is more recent than 1984. Now A - the old governor's house was the answer for the building that was moved and that is not used as per its original purpose.

I feel like I really blew it on my listening this time around - shame, as I went in from the main purpose of upping my writing score to 7.5

Does anyone remember what Tony Heslop's distinguishing factor was (he was the last guy on the list of instructors) - was it charity or was it that he was new?

Also, does anyone remember what the answer was for what the students were supposed to do at night? Was it brochure or talk to the teachers? I answered teachers before switching to brochure because I thought wait - I'm not sure what time of day it is in the recording and it seems like they're more likely to talk to teachers now and then read brochures in the evening when they're home.
