Receipt or something , that u applied work permit or extention.

They might need a proof that u applied for something , so u must have some status , while u go to border for flagpoling.

The agent, who makes a request, will tell you it’s gonna take few weeks for office to contact you. In my case they contacted me in few hours

I wonder if you landed in one of IRCC offices? If so, what documents you took with you?
