Dear friends,
Have any of you got DNA test request (for proving paternity and maternity) from Singapore VO?
In the letter, they told that -
“Please advise this office in writing within the next thirty (30) days to confirm whether or not you intend to undergo DNA testing to verify your relationship.”
I already sent my consent through a signed letter (via DHL) to the concerned section of Singapore VO. But, Singapore VO is yet to set an appointment for collecting the sample. Now, my question is whether I should express my consent through email as well.
This was the problem number 1. My problem number 2 is as follows-
They allowed me 30 days to send my consent for the test in the DNA request letter. But, in the ADR (of the same date), they have allowed me 30 days for final submission including DNA test report.
I don't know how I will manage this problem. Already 13 days elapsed out of this 30 days. Singapore VO has not set the appointment yet. Appointment, sample collection, Sample transportation, DNA testing and final reporting - these all jobs are very time consuming. I am frightened thinking of failing these conflicting deadlines.
I mailed them but they are very unresponsive.
