I'm not being negative, I'm being realistic. Some people receive MR early in the process but then wait for a year with no updates. Others wait long and at the end of the wait time they receive everything at once: MR, eligibility, etc.
If your suggestion that they've sped up the process were true, then they wouldn't have changed their timeline to 19 months.
I'm talking about facts that I saw at the beginning of the year. While for me it took so long to get file number for others was fast this year. Anyway, that is your opinion. Have a great day.

what I'm saying is that it's impossible to extrapolate those trends because they change all the time and are subjective. The only thing we can trust is data and data tells us that 80% of applications are processed within 19 months, everything else is arbitrary.

Hi Guys.
I'm new here, just registered an account a few minutes ago. Here is my timeline for inland PNP:

Application received: June 7, 2017
Correspondence acknowledging receipt: August 8, 2017
Started processing application: August 8, 2017

I haven't had any updated since August 2017. And my background is so simple, Master PNP, single, no rejection history. I have been checking this forum for many months. Many people that have the similar timeline as mine now have passed their medical exams. I have ordered a note about one month ago, but still have no feedback. I have to say, it is frustrating.
order GCMS notes, it will give you a clearer picture.

It all depends of many factors. If you got the pre-arrival before medical or after. Also the 19 months is an estimated in the worse case scenario and it also depends if you are inside or outside of Canada (For outland takes like 3 months longer than Inland) For example, if you look for the processing time for Medical exams for permanent residency it is 3 months. After my doctor sent the report, it took just 2 days for them to process the exams. So it wasn't the 3 months that they say in the page.

Indeed, as I have mentioned before the 2016 and 2017 process were super slow (40 thousand refugees) but they speed up at beginning of this year and it seems that it slow down with the summer season.
How does getting pre arrival before medical request affect things?

You don't have a point of reference. Usually after you get pre-arrival letter after medical exams you should be getting the PPR (according to what I have seen here) maximum within 4 or 5 months. Again after Pre-arrival letter gotten after medical. That is the pattern that I have seen here.
