Hello,

Me and my wife applied together for EE PR. I am in Toronto and my wife is in India. I have received landing interview email and COPR yesterday. It seems like my application has been processed successfully. However, my wife has not received any passport request. I am confused on how she will enter into Canada? When I asked CIC, they told me that "your wife's file is with New-Delhi Office and they will email you shortly". But when? no one knows. New Delhi office neither answer any call nor reply to any email.

Is this new process? Is there anyone sailing in the same boat? I thought both of us will get PR at the same time. How long it will take now for New Delhi to email me for further instructions.

Thanks,

Weird and surprising. Ultimately file is the same, dependants are being processed at a different LVO. When you filed for PR, were you in separate countries? You in canada and wife in India?

That could be the reason then. But one would expect them to keep it at same LVO.
Can understand the concern.
@scylla : can you please assist OP here, is that a normal scenario for main applicant and spouse to be sent to different LVO when country of residence for each is different at the time of e-apr. And would you know if they would keep processing times close to each other.
