There were a few outliers from visa exempt countries processed at CPC M that got DM/PPR in a few months but this wouldn't apply to the majority of applications.

It really depends on applicants country, VO, etc.

You only applied 2 months ago. You're still in early stages, they won't have even began applicant processing yet.

Like I said that happened out of CPC Mississauga for some straightforward visa exempt applicants (mainly Outland US applicants). This will not be the case for you, you are not visa exempt.

They do, which is why they made major changes to processing back in December 2016.

Many people do not realize that delays in processing times often do not fall on the Canadian government, but actually the applicants VO and all the information sharing they do during processing that incurs delay.

Well in my case my husband submitted my application at mississauga! They asked for my birth certificate three times even when there were two copies of the birth certificate already submitted along with my file! Pcc was also attached in the file. Bgc form was also duely filled in.

All applications are submitted to the case processing center in Canada first before they are transferred to the respective visa office. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long. Good luck!

Hello all,
I called the automated phone system , regarding my spousal sponsorship.

This is where my file is at this point.
Medical passed
SA approved
Eligibility in process

‘Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.‘

My question is : if initially they don’t need interview , can it change in the last stages ?? Meaning can they call u for interview ?
