Employment Records

Hi all,

I have all my supporting documents except some employment records. I have a few employers in the states that have outsourced their HR to a third party like WorkDay. What I am able to get a hold of is pay stubs and a cover letter showing my start and stop date of employment (not official company letterhead).

I cannot get a hold of anyone to write a 'custom' letter, I have 1 Employer dating back to 2000 that I've been having a hard time getting a hold of anyone to write me anything.

I submitted a request to the IRS for past pay stubs, but that's probably as far as I'll get to show employment history. My question is, how strict are they when it comes to situations like this? Are they understanding or would the immigration officer give me a hard time and want me to try further? I have numbers of people who I've contacted who have turned me away.

Any insight would be great. Thanks!

I'm in a similar situation, thought I could use your help. How did you submit a request to the IRS for past pay stubs? I need it as a proof for wages per hour/month/year.

I just googled IRS employment history and it will take you to their site to sign up and such. For me I am waiting for a code in the mail because the cell number they had for me on file for 3 factor authentication is no longer active.

I think all you can get is a history of your W2 that you filed at the time you were employed. They wouldn’t have your paystubs though.

Bump

I've been on the phone daily and dealing with these third parties is frustrating. Has anyone been in a situation where they didn't need to provide a "custom" letter from the company and the paystubs / tax forms / etc sufficed?
