Errr….. Perhaps you have the process confused??
Do you mean that you have a spousal sponsorship application in progress and you have received a passport request? If so, then you will NOT receive a PR Card, you will receive a Conformation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) letter. This has an expiry date and you must land in Canada and declare PR before that date. You would perhaps receive the CoPR in 2 - 4 weeks.
It is only after landing and declaring PR that they apply for your PR Card, which if you can at that stage provide a Canadian residential address for them to send it to, will take 60 - 90 days as the other poster has said.
