For EE getting PCC from India and background check from RCMP

Hi ,
Me and my husband are Indians and we are on a work permit . We have just filled up our express entry profile two days ago and have booked our appointment for medical examination.
Regarding PCC,
Do we have to go to the Indian embassy to get this done ?
I’m just not having a clear idea of what steps should be taken?
It will be really helpful if somebody could explain the steps precisely
Regarding background checks?

For PCC - Form are available on BLS-International website and you can submit the completed forms, fee and passport in nearest BLS office (check their website for office locations). You will get it in around 5 to 10 business days.
You don’t need RCMP unless it’s requested by CIC once you submit your PR application after getting ITA. If you want to do it upfront, check this link.

If you are in Toronto you can go to CGi and get the PCC in a days notice, morning submission afternoon collection https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/information-get-indian-pcc-in-one-day-canada-only.469878/

You don't need RCMP upfront, but if you have already spent more than six months in the country, I would suggest go and do the RCMP in one go and submit along with the application. Saves time....
In case you are in Mississauga, you can look at: https://www.redsealnotary.com/ for the RCMP fingerprinting.
RCMP send the PCC by mail in a week or 10 days max(if everything is OK)

For PCC from CGI there is one form to get emergency PCC
Along with that which more forms and documents are required?
They said you also need to make a draft in the name of cgi

As I read from the link which I provide earlier... here is what I read:

You need to carry following docs

1. Indian Passport
2. Police Clearance Application Form http://www.blsindia-canada.com/forms/HCI-CGI_Police Clearance Certificate form.pdf
3. 4 Copies of Police Clearance Reference Form http://www.blsindia-canada.com/forms/HCI_CGI_Police_Clearance_Reference_form.PDF
4. 4 Photographs,as specified here http://www.blsindia-canada.com/photo_spec.php
5. Copy of status document (WP copy, carry the original as well)
6. Copy of address proof (Address proof for each applicant, DL, Utility Bill, etc, carry the original as well)
7. Bank draft of CAD 91 on the name of "Consulate General of India", Please get this fee verified as it might vary in Vancouver or Ottawa.

In Toronto, there is a Canada post shop in same building that provides photographs, print, photo copy and bank draft services.

Application for Police Clearance Certificate is to be submitted at the nearest BLS International centers either in person or through mail.

Emergency PCC: In case of emergency, application for PCC may be submitted directly at consulate on any working day between 0930-1230 hours.

I. Requirements to submit application at the Consulate General of India, Toronto :

• Fill in the application form.
• Current Indian passport with valid immigration papers or Canadian passport in original and photocopy.
• Note: For PR card issued without the category on the back, please submit the original and photocopy of the PR card and landing paper.
• Proof of current Canadian residence address: (copy of any one of the following)
  
  • Canadian Driving License.
  • Gas, Electricity, water or landline telephone bill displaying applicant's address.
  • House Lease Agreement.
  • Note: Bank/credit card/mobile phone statements are not accepted as residence proof.
• Fee: Attach bank draft of C$92/- (Fee C$37 + C$55 emergency charges) drawn in favor of " Consulate General of India".
