I was in IP1 for long time and today(23rd July 2018) my status changed to IP2 with additional documents required(spouse family information form IMM 5406E) which we somehow missed when we submitted the application. We have uploaded the requested form(filled, dated and signed) on the application profile in hours after requested.
Current status
We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
We are processing your background check.
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Historically how long does it take them to work on the requested item? Roughly by how long will it delay the process as I missed the form earlier?
I am anticipating 4weeks turnaround time to receive a PPR. Based on my logic of 3 weeks average after IP2 these days and 1 week for processing the missed items. Just curious to make travel arrangements accordingly.

CongratulationsHi Guys,
I finally received the PPR and have submitted my Passport to VFS. Below is my Process Summary:
EE Profile Creation: Jan 4th 2018 , Single from India with the score of 469, FSW category.
ITA Rcvd: 11th Jan 2018
Docs submission: 8th Feb 2018
PPR Received: 13th June 2018 ( But i missed to check this as it was in junk folder), but my Online status was still showing that we are doing your background check
Request for another PPR: Somehow on July 18th, 2018 I realized that i had already received PPR and have crossed around 35 days.
So made a call to IRCC in canada, explained my situation and requested for a fresh PPR. IRCC agent was very helpful and forwarded my Request to Ottawa office. Meanwhile I also dropped an email to Ottawa office requesting to send a new PPR
Another PPR: 19th July 2018, received PPR with a new date.
Passport submission: 20th July 2018, submitted my passport
Lessons learnt:
Nowdays the online profile is not getting updated even after you receive the PPR email, so do not rely on online Status.
Keep a track on your mailbox on regular basis, as the PPR request comes in Junk/spam folders
Search your mailbox with the Keywords like CIC, finale, Ottawa
In case you find the time of your application is not normal, kindly call the IRCC, they are very helpful.
In case you miss to check the PPR email, do not panic, call the IRCC and the might help you to request for a fresh PPR letter.

Mycic doesn’t get updated after receiving PPR email.
It gets updated and mentions final decision has been made on the day your passport is stamped and dispatched from Canadian visa office.

CongratulationsApparently, the agent told me it would take a month to get my passport request this afternoon. However, I just got the email to submit my passport

I got my passport stamped back on 23rd July . PPR - 4 th July . Passport submitted on 10th July . Yesterday only my account got updated to approved.vo - New Delhi visa office
