WES ECA transcript from Calicut University

Hello Friends,

I have seen threads related to obtaining official transcripts from Calicut University for WES ECA. From the threads, i could see that its costs some 1500+searching charge for getting a transcript for B.Tech.
But when I visited the University office section for submitting application they are asking me to pay 1500 for each mark sheet to be include in transcript. I have 6 semester mark sheets so effectively i have to pay 6*1500 = 9000 + Searching fee + Postal charge .

Not sure what went wrong in my case. Has anyone got the B.tech transcripts recently fro CU

This seems like a very high price.. what is the current situation of your process ? I will be needing to do this in the near future please reply

Yes, you are correct. I have 22 certificates for my B Tech and CU told me (1500 * 22 + searching charges + courier charges = 40K)
I ran from there. Im not sure this is the ethical way. Can someone suggest the right way WES is looking for in case of Calicut University.

I hear theres an option of getting a consolidated marliest (single sheet. with all SEM 1 -8 including subjects, marks & date of passing).
Does anyone know if WES will accept this? Is it ok to send Final Degree + Consolidated Marklist +WES form ??

I think in your case, the number of mark lists are so high because of backlogs right.. but do we need all mark lists including the failed ones too ? We actually need the final mark lists from all the semesters which we have passed all of the subjects is that right Did you ask them about that ?

Cusat gives only one marksheet for one semester. we get the real marksheet only when we passa ll subjects in that sem.
Cusat knows its students will flock to other countries

I know. i was comparing others to cusat.
in other universites , u will end up with a pile of marksheets if u get backlogs in b.tech. its not the case in Cusat.

Ok... So is it possible to get a consolidated marklist like we get from polytechnic colleges and will wes approve it any idea ?

i want to do wes for my wife b.tech. from calicut university.. i am worried about the fees per certificate.. she has consolidated mark list but its a summury of semester marks.. any way of getting a consolidates sheet with all subject names and marks ..

I do not have consolidated markslist however my degree is BCom so 3 marks sheet + 1 arrear + 1 main certificate so i guess it will be 1500*5 = 7500 and search fee 500. Total 8000 which is much higher than any university

Has anyone got their transcripts from Calicut university recently ? Can you please share the procedure or the link to discussion thread with helpful advice. I'm starting my ECA application and want to know the procedure. Should we directly visit there or can we courier the application forms and other copies to the university ? just asking

Also, will they send the transcripts directly to WES or hand over to us?

Appreciate some advice pls

Yes, you can apply for a detailed consolidated marklist. I got it from university recently. Now I can apply for transcript with that single sheet.

Hi ,Any one who recently did WES from Calicut university please assist me in procedure. As per my understanding from the forum , i should visit university with application form for transcript(Single application form for all mark list?). As i did B.Tech , I have total 7 mark list(6 individual +1 consolidated- contains subject names of last sem in consolidated). Whether i need to submit the individual mark list of last semester and consolidated separately?
