I did but no positive response, told my MP the file is in progress and don't need any additional documents for now.
Contacting CIC is a waste of time, they don't know more than us, Ordered notes which say Security hasn't started yet.

Did your MP tell you if the security check is in progress? I ordered my GCMS notes too which says security has not started however, I called the local MP who advised that my file was sent to the third party for security check in first week of April.

They didnt tell my MP anything about security check, my MP forwarded me the mail from them which says "Applicant file is in progress and we cant give any timeline, we don't need any additional documents for now but will contact applicant if we do so"

yours is probably started too. the notes will never show if the security has started. it will always stay the same.

it's not that they are doing nothing, they send the file to CSIS and CBSA and they conduct checks in their own manner and priority, CIC has nothing to do with this part of the background check.

January 19th, got Ghost Update, Decision Made, officer told me over the phone I've been approved about 3 weeks ago, no PPR...

I got the notes from CSIS last month. They said they don't have any information regarding my file means they haven't received any request regarding my file.

Waiting from 2 months, haven't received notes from them. I think they will start background check in couple of months and then it will take few more months. One of my friends received his PPR email last week and he waited for 27.5 months in total.

let us know when you get your CBSA notes (they take 8 weeks minimum I heard) please!
