why would a Visa officer check a Sponsor's travel history ??
Thought they only check the sponsored person's data.
Even then there's no way to check every single detail unless they check the passport for visas/stamps, etc.

You can also check the CIC online tool website to check your status. It’s not as detailed as gckey but it gives an idea
No it won’t effect your case because you have to give applicants information like date of birth and it is an auto update recorded msg which will tell you the status of your application
Im Jan 16, 2018 applicant, I uploaded Schd A and Marriage certificate & NIkkah Nama (marraige license) on March 19. Haven't heard anything from them since April 18.
Below is my Timeline:
PA residency: Karachi
App recd: Jan 16, 2018
AOR1 : March 3, 2018
Med Req: March 15
Schd A & Marriage License/Certificate request: March 19, 2018 (Marriage license/certificate was sent with the application, but they requested again)
Medical Test conducted: March 26, 2018
Medical Pass on GCKEY: April 3, 2018
Transfer to LVO: April 12, 2018
ECAS in-Process for PA: April 18, 2018

Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.

My Timeline is almost the same, my app was received on 18th Jan.
Almost the same timeline as yours maybe 1-2 day difference.

hi thats normal, they dont always tell you that they have received your documents. i am oct 2017 applicant and on my GCKEY it also still says Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded. its just going to be a long wait now. its 12 month processing time, dont set your expectations for anything earlier than that.
