Hello,

I'm completing my 8 months course and I have been told I will get a 8 months PGWP.

How can I use that towards my CEC? Is there a province I can work for 8 months and get CEC points or PNP?

What should I do?

I want to apply for Canadian PR.

You wouldn't be able to achieve a year of Canadian work experience so you won't be able to meet the eligibility criteria under the CEC program, this course would only help in boosting your education points (if applicable).

Edit: you can try finding an employer who is willing to go through the process of obtaining LMIA but that could be very challenging.

Thank you for your response.

So I studied from Jan 2018 to Aug 2018. - 8 months. If I enroll in another 8 month course in Jan 2019, will it be counted as 16 months course?

For my 8 month current course, is it possible to get 1 year PGWP at all?
