Applied online for study permit-University(Bachelors)-VFS Karachi

Applied on 27th April..biometrics done on 7th May...medicals passed on 12th June...still waiting for passport request letter (( the wait is awfully stressful...dont even know if i will be accepted!!

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY Passport Request letter?

Well as per experienced members on this forum said. If your medical is appearing cleared then there are more chances of approval of visas.. in that case expect your passport letter soon.. Insha Allah.
I applied on 25 june online. Only received acknowledgement letter.. no updates so far

If they requested medical from you after you have applied for your study permit then yes your chances are almost 100% but if it is upfront medical then we can't say anything. As far as the time is concerned, it can take about two months after medical has been requested and passed to get passport submission request and about three days after submission to get passport back.

What about my case. My consultant has applied from Canada on 25 June online. They said i should expect to receive Biometric instruction letter within 10 days. But its been 20 days now. Haven't receive any update. Plus i do not have access to online account...

Medicals were asked by CIC after i applied and after i completed my

What about my case. My consultant has applied from Canada on 25 June online. They said i should expect to receive Biometric instruction letter within 10 days. But its been 20 days now. Haven't receive any update. Plus i do not have access to online account...

Thats weird...i applied online on 27th april and got my biometrics letter the very next day on my account which is 28th April :/ canadian visa off

Link your account to gc key. Just google what i just wrote and they'll tell you how to do so. Never trust consultants. Sometimes they don't apply and are wasting applicants time. Link your account asap.

Consultant has their own account at CIC for submission. And they sent me acknowledgement letter which they received after submitting application. This letter contains only application number. As you said link account to gc key... am i able to do that??? I mean if consultant already applied online from their online account. Shall i be authorized to do so seperately.. ?? It wont create any conflict??

Maybe they wont have an access to it anymore. Just go over to there place first and ask them to show the account for your own satisfaction. They wont mind if nothing is wrong because normally it doesn't take this much time for biometrics letter. I got mine after 20 minutes. My friend got their at max after a week and that was a rare case. 20 days is a lot of time...

One more thing.. did you pay the biometric fee at time of submitting application online? Or it will be paid separately to VAC directly after receiving biometric letter.??

I paid it while applying. You have to pay it with the application fee for online application.

It seems my consultant has paid only 150 for visa processing fee. Which they directly charged me. They did not charge me biometrics fee..
Actually my consultant is in canada. And its a big law firm. So chances of topi drama is almost 0.

I can't say much but it shouldn't take this long to generate biometrics letter. Ask them what could be the reason for such delay and all.

I already asked them today.. its still sunday there. Hopefully will receive feedback tomorrow. What i am guessing now that they did not paid the fee for biometrics online. May be that could be a reason of not getting biometrics letter. What do you think?

Asalamo Alaikum,

Hi everybody, I applied for a visa via an online application from KSA on 3rd of July, was asked for biometrics the very next day. I had upfront medicals for myself and spouse as well which I attached with application. However after that so far no response from the embassy.
I attached all the required documents as per their checklist which they asked for.
Actually, I applied for spouse visa along with me with open work permit visa for the spouse.

However, they have not asked for any police clearance from me so far. No update from them after 4th July, biometrics appearing completed on my account.

Now I'm waiting for their feedback and the waiting period is so difficult.
I got admission for U of Calgary for MEng and without any ILETS, now I don't know whether no ILETS will affect my application or not...
