What's acknowledgement letter? I have no received anything. I have received only email that my visa is being processed in Bangalore.

Letter which contains Application number and UCI Number...

I have not received any mail. But I can see the UCI number and application number in the online status checking site where i linked my paper application online .

Why did you book your flight so tight bro? You could have asked for an extension in university or college and booked it on first week of September .it's gonna be very tight. Pray hard.

We have a compulsory orientation on 29 August So I have to leave by 25.

Which university bro? And you didn't receive any mail or SMS that your application is forwarded n processed in so n so location? Contact your VFS/Agent. Didn't you fill a form in local VFS Center while submitting application for SMS updates?

Lakehead university, and I applied online not offline.

Oh okay bro. I applied offline in Chennai VFS. They asked me to fill a form to submit my email and mob number for updates .next day I received email that my APp is forwarded to Bangalore visa Center for processing .I don't know how it works online. Sorry .
