May applications for TRV

It took 60-65 days for you, i know many who applied after may 15 and got within a month ( no CAN+) , actually it depends case to case basis. That case is decided by CIC( very fraustating), for paper based application when they keep passport for more than 30 days , keeping people await is not a good thing

I could understand your frustration. I agreed some times they are issuing visa in less than month but always think for maximum time these days they are taking up. We cannot contemplate why some gets within month when they are super busy in current summer time. My post was to relieve people waiting from long that definitely they would response within 60-65 days. Thanks

July 2nd- biometrics done and updated online
Since then “background check”

IRCC/Visa Offices should really improve on providing correct updates. at-least their internal processing status and also publish processing times based on their individual visa offices(not one consolidated for a country).

all i get was under process and that they can not give me specific time when a decision will be made so all i have to do is to wait , i asked for passport withdrawal last week

Hi guys, I was tracking this forum from long since i applied online from India for my parents on May 18, 2018. Got the passport request on July 13,2018 so it is taking around 60-65 days so please do not be confused with 28 days written at cic website which is average time throughout year and it varies depending upon how busy visa office is. Just chill till 60-65 days and you will get answer on your application. Best of luck for people still waiting and thanks for regularly posting here.

My parents also applied on 18th May. While my dad received passport request on 15th July, my mom's application is still under review/process. This is getting frustrating to a point now! 63 days already gone
