Hi...I sent an email enquiring about status of my file. can anyone please advice what his reply means in terms of receiving PPR. I am Oct 207 AOR and been in IP2 for quite a while...

The reply looks promising, give it a few days otherwise order gcms notes. Did you never order before considering your application is very delayed?
I ordered in April but nothing came back. A month back London office requested me to send biometric pages of passport, I sent them but no update after that. Then i sent them an email asking for update and the above reply came. Also, my medical expired back in June and status changed at that time. Then 3 weeks back it changed back to medical passed. No idea what is happening.
Biodata pages are normally asked for just before finalizing file. I feel you should get PPR soon.
it might be a system glitch..they asked me a document in August 2017 which I provided in the same month. They confirmed the receipt via email as well but since August 2017 my account is showing same error. I called them and asked them later about it and they told me nothing to worry and that no action is required...
bty my AOR is 21st April 2017 and I am still waiting for final outcome...

Hi Shoaib. Are you in SS mate? I'm May 17 AOR and recently found out that I'm not in SS but still waiting.

“At present we are just waiting for the CBSA to complete their security checks”.
1. Does this mean my file in under background check or security screening.
2.Any idea how long does CBSA usualy take?
3.Should I expect surprises post CBSA or next is PPR? (I have already passed eligibility)

It shouldn’t take much long from here provided you are not under security screening.
Dear, the only way to find out whether you are under SS or not, is through CBSA/CSIS notes.
