Yes. They have 2 holidays, one on Aug 6th and one on August 15. We should be good i think. Hoping for PPR this week or latest next week.

I think the ambassy are closed on august due to vacations so i think if we dont get our ppr by this week or next week we will have to wait until september... just guessing

Unless this is specific to Canadian embassies, other embassies do not totally close in August.

I think I had a update today which says " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". This means I am in IP2 now, isn't it? I have been in IP1 since April 14th. Does this change also means, I have passed eligibility?

That may just mean that your PPR is in the horizon...

I just called them a few minutes back and a lady picked up the phone and told that file has been approved and is in New Delhi right now.
Can anyone tell me what does this mean?

I went to the IP2 stage on 28th June 2018.
