Been a silent observer in this group, but wanted to share this happy news with all, that I have received the golden email

My Timelines are as below:-

ITA: 24-JAN-2018
AOR: 14-APR-2018
NA1: 14-APR-2018
MEP: 24-APR-2018
IP1: 24-APR-2018
27th June 2018 - Applied for GCMS notes, still to receive it
IP2: 28-JUN-2018
Ghost Update: 18-JUL-2018
PPR: 19-JUL-2018

FSWO with spouse.

I had called CIC around 5-6 times during the complete process and seen that my File moved from
Sydney CIO (MEP and IP1)-> CPC Ottawa (Eligibility recommended Passed and turned to IP2) -> Sydney CIO (Received PPR)

This group has been of great help and guidance. Wishing everyone receives their PPR ASAP.

You should ask them about the status of the additional documents you sent and when they tell you that they are still under review, ask them if they have an idea why it is taking so long and if this is something that happens often. At least, that's how I would ask them if I were you

Just got them on the phone. Spoke to a very gentle lady she told me everything is fine. They got the additional documents i sent they are ok. My demand is still waiting for security check other things are ok (criminality passed). She told me also that they treat 90% of the demands on less than 6 months and that it seems to be the case with me thats all. Lets hope for ppr very soon

Is it possible for an application to be under processing for more than 6 months? I have seen threads where ppl have been waiting for 14 months?How is that possible when the max processing time for an EE application is 6 months?

yes, it’s possible, IRCC said 80% of the applications get processed in 6 months meaning 20% of the applicants get processed over 6 months

I have just called cic and the agent told me that my application has moved to visa office in ottawa nd she has not any information on it. She mailed email of ottawa office nd suggest me to contact them.but online my appointment is in ip1 has anyone else got same response plz answer.

Happy to inform that the PPR mail has finally arrived today morning around 6:30 India time There is no change in my accounts status post the Ghost update from yesterday.

The PR application categories (CEC, PNP, FSW-I/O) of all these single applicants must be different.

Well, the I did not go that far. And when you divide them into further categories, the number just gets smaller.

Thats a good question...

For me they told me :
Medic : Passed
Eligibility - Passed
Criminality - Passed
Security - Goin on

I would like also to know how much time does it take for security and what do they verify, and is it the last verification before ppr or is there any further verifications? I had a visa refusal two times from france when i was still 18 but after i worked and married i had 3 visas for france and spain... So not that much travel history...
