I asked my bank to provide bank statements for the past 6 months and they provided them all, except for March's statement. Their reasoning is that I did not have any transactions (in or out) in March. Will this be a problem for the IRCC?

Shouldn't be. But there should be a statement with opening and closing balance as same. You can raise a CSE and attach all the bank statements and send it across for your mental peace though
