Hello everyone, I am so glad to have come across this forum.
Please, for Proof of Funds, my spouse transferred half of the amount we need from his savings account to mine for us to have enough money for the PR application.
Do I need to attach any documents to show the money came from my spouse? Or Do I need a gift deed from my spouse. Please help, I am really confused.

Hello everyone, i am a newbie to this group and i can see its been a family forum since 2014 helping each other to reach the top.
Please i have loads of questions and i will appreciate if i can get advise from the house. I am just planning / in the process of applying for FSW . I and my wife has done our IELTS and we both have a very good CLB scores.
I have also gotten my certificate checked my WES and i have my verification already with me.
I am an ACCA Chartered accountant. planning to sit for my CPA exam before putting my application in this month.
My question is.. My wife is going to be a dependant on me, but we did not do her WES verification because she is not working in accordance to her course of study. PLEASE IS IT COMPULSORY FOR HER TO DO HER'S WITH WES?
Also if applying from the United Kingdom, does anyone have an idea where i will send my applications too? will it be directly to canada or the embassy here in UK?

Hi, a gift deed is not necessary from your own spouse. A simple, signed letter from your spouse saying that he freely transferred the funds to you to support the family's PR application is satisfactory. He can add his account statement showing how he obtained the funds from either salary, business, sale of an asset, shares, etc

Her education doesn't have to be in the same field as her work experience for immigration purpose but the scores from her ECA as well as her IELTS can give you much needed extra points to stand out in the EE pool PLEASE IS IT COMPULSORY FOR HER TO DO HER'S WITH WES? It's not compulsory but advisable as explained above. You need every extra point you can get as the EE pool is very competitive
Also if applying from the United Kingdom, does anyone have an idea where i will send my applications too? will it be directly to canada or the embassy here in UK? The application is online. You really need to go back and study the process so you are better informed. You submit your profile online while your application is most likely processed at the VO - Visa Office closest to your physical location if you are selected in the periodic draws and receive an ITA - invitation to apply. Sometimes though, your application may be sent off to another VO to process if there's a high workload at your expected VO.

Please I applied for work permit to Canada since march 5th and till date I ve not gotten a response from the embassy and the processing time says 13 weeks mean while this is the 29th week. What are my chances of getting an approval and how soon. Thanks in anticipation for you kind responses

Please is it compulsory to submit a bank statement for proof of funds since it doesn't clearly say so in the official website or am I getting it wrong?
I quote
"What we accept as proof
For proof, you must get official letters from any banks or financial institutions where you are keeping money.

Letter(s) must:

• include their contact information (address, telephone number and email address)
• include your name
