If your job offer is genuine which i doubt then its the company responsibility to help you with the process of applying for a work permit.

Don't give them any money or any of your personal information.

It seems legit. I applied directly on their website..

Well its unlikely that they will help you apply for a work permit. It seems that they will only hire locals or foreign workers who have no restrictions on their employment,

Ah - OK. You have a different problem.

You cannot apply for a work permit without your employer getting an approved LMIA. Most employers are not willing to go through the LMIA process to hire a foreign worker because it's so long and expensive - and has no guarantee of approval.

The response you've received above makes it clear that Fairmont is not willing to go through the LMIA process to hire you. So there's no way you are going to be able to apply for a work permit to work for them.

You need to find an employer who is willing to go through the LMIA process. You cannot get a work permit without one.

And just to add - what you received above is definitely not a job offer. It's a standard/canned response they send to everyone who applies and who is not entitled to work in Canada to explain that they will only consider candidates eligible to work in Canada.

So I need a job offer from employer who's ready to go through LMIA?!!

I got u all.

Yes. AND that employer must obtain an approved LMIA before you can apply for a work permit. The LMIA process typically takes 4-6 months to complete.

Note that for Express Entry - it's not counted as a job offer unless you also have an approved LMIA.

Total scam and you can even find a warning from Marriott Corporation about job offers on the official Marriott website.

Do not share copies any documents or pay any money

Hi guys.
How does the LMIA process work?
Does an employer need to give me an offer letter or a contract before they can apply for LMIA?
