If your spouse is mentioned on your profile but will not accompany you to Canada, the PCC and Medicals are still required for them.Hi,

Thanks! My spouse is planning to apply independently later in a few years. So from what you mentioned, I just don't mention him on my profile at all and I should be good? I.e. no pcc or other documents for spouse will be asked?if not dependent then the option iteslf will not be avaialble for ur spouse ( documents option to update) so need not needed the PCC .
if he/she is accompanying with primary applicant then PCC is needed.
If you show that you're married, but your spouse will not accompany you , then the PCC and Medicals are required. If you show that you're single (which you can't obviously) then nothing related to your spouse will be required. Thanks! My spouse is planning to apply independently later in a few years. No - you can't do that. That's misrepresentation (lying in your PR application). If you do that - expect a refusal and 5 year ban from Canada. Thanks!
