Does a Sponsor (Spouse) need to enter his Travelling History in IMM5562 under Spousal Sponsorship. If YEs do we need to Enter his Business Trips as he is Truck Driver in Canada he had to go US everyweek.
Our application was received 4 June 2018. We have received nothing yet. I called in today. The lady said it was rejected, and asked if we received any mail. We have received no mail. She then put us on hold, and then the system kicked us out of the phonecall.
anyone have a phone number and what buttons to press on phone, to speak to someone who may have knowledge of the spousal application stuff? ( I thought I read somewhere about a different number as apposed to the one on their website.)

do not bother calling now; you are unable to stay on hold because they are too busy.
It will not. The mail will be gone.
The government has also not processed my wifes extension of visitor record yet. We applied 2 months ago online. (They suggest applying 30 days before status expires). So we applied two months before......... and it has been 2 months, and nothing has been done in terms of processing. They told us to wait longer, and it is okay to remain in the country as a visitor with no status.

Do you mean your application was returned? If that’s the case you won’t receive any emails from IRCC you will find your application in your mailbox in a few days

I applied to sponsor my wife (she is from/currently lives in Morocco).
Application was sent first week of June (to Mississauga).
After about a month, still no AOR, email, nothing indicating they received it!
So i went to the CIC website and submitted a question from the Contact section.
After about 2 more weeks, they replied to my website inquiry, saying my application is received, will be processed in order it was received in, and I will be contacted should they need anything else.
It's not been about 6 weeks since I applied, and I have received no email or anything.
(except their answer to my question that yes my application has been received)
Is this normal? Will I eventually receive an email, AOR, or be able to link my application to my account?

I see a lot of people saying their application is making progress however I know ours was also the first week of June and we have yet to hear anything either way.
I am not sure how they sort out the order of who's is being processed. But some people from the first week of June have still yet to receive any communication.
So I went back and tracked my application.
I was delivered June 13th.
And again, via the Contact section of the CIC website, I received a response confirming that it was received.
But no AOR or any official receipt or correspondence yet...
