Address for PR card

Does anyone know if you land in Ontario and application for family sponsorship was made for Ontario , can you give Quebec address to send the PR card to? I will be doing soft landing and returning to Canada later but I don’t have anyone In Ontario to give the address for PR , thank you

As a new permanent resident, you will receive your new PR card mailed to the Canadian mailing address you provided when you first land in Canada. This is part of the immigration process and you do not need to apply for a PR Card.

Yes, you can give a Canadian residential address in ANY province for your PR Card to be mailed to for spousal / family sponsorship.

Thanks very much , I was worried that they’ll think I’ll be settling in Quebec ( which would have different sponsorship rules ) that’s not my intention at all
But I have no family in Ontario to provide me with postal address

Unlikely they will even ask, if they do, just tell them that is where you will be staying for a while, but not settling in QC - hell, QC is just over the river from downtown Ottawa!
